The rules this is offered under.
It’s free, it’s here to teach you something, and you’re still the one responsible for whatever you ship. Nothing below is written to catch you out.
In effect since August 17, 2026
What this is
A free reference about building and shipping software. There’s no account, no subscription, no paid tier, and nothing hidden behind a payment. If you got here and started reading, you already have all of it.
This isn’t professional advice
None of this is legal advice, a security certification, or an audit of anything. What the law actually asks of you depends on where you operate, what your product does, who uses it, and what industry you’re in. I can’t know any of that from here.
Real legal decisions need a lawyer. A real security assessment needs an assessor. What’s here is a floor to start from, not a promise that following it makes your product safe or compliant. I’d rather you know that now than find out the hard way.
You’re responsible for your own software
The prompts here are written carefully. They ask your AI tool to explain what it found before it changes anything, to make the smallest change that works, and to leave the rest of your code alone. None of them tell it to delete something, run a migration, force push, or change a credential without you saying yes first.
Even so, you’re the one running them, against your own code, with your own tools. Read what your AI proposes before you accept it. Keep backups. Work on a branch. That’s the whole point of this site, and it applies to this site’s own prompts as much as anything else.
No warranty
Everything here is given to you as is, with no warranty of any kind. It might contain mistakes. The lists and the laws named here change, sometimes fast. Every source is listed with the date it was last checked, so you can go and verify it yourself rather than trusting the page.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I accept no liability for any loss that comes from using it.
Using the content
Read it, share it, use the prompts in your own work, and send other builders here. That’s what it’s for.
Please don’t repackage it as a paid course or a paid checklist. It’s free on purpose, and it should still be free for whoever finds it next.
Donations
Donations are voluntary. They aren’t required for any part of this site and they don’t buy you anything. They aren’t a tax deductible charitable contribution. Payments are handled entirely by an outside provider, under that provider’s own terms.
Availability and changes
This site might change or go offline at any time. When something important changes, the date at the top of this page moves.
If you find something here that’s wrong, out of date, or overstated, please tell me. Corrections are the point.
